May 21: Golf Outing
There is still time to register for out upcoming Association of Energy Engineer National Capital Chapter golf outing on Tuesday morning, May 21st at the wonderful Reston National Golf Course!
We still need a few more golfers to round out some of our foursomes ‐ or put together your own group!
You do not need to be a good golfer for this event ‐ we are playing best ball ‐ you may be the one to make the approaches or putts! We will be playing an 18‐hole at Reston National Golf Course, one of Northern Virginia's favorite classic golf courses. Designed by the legendary Ed Ault, Reston National is managed by Virginia‐based Billy Casper Golf. It is also home to the well‐known Nike Golf School ‐‐ a great place to learn, practice, and play golf. The course is conveniently located in the heart of Reston, just off the Dulles Toll Road midway between Dulles Airport and the Washington Beltway.
Come as early as 7 am for putting green and driving range practice. We tee off at 8 am and should finish the 18 holes by 1 pm. Lunch includes a sandwich, drink, and chips. Participants will receive tickets for range balls, lunch and drinks, golfer goodie bag and sleeve of golf balls.
New this year ‐ hole in one contests ‐ including opportunities for a Hawaiian Beach Resort and golf package, Mandalay Bay Weekend, Light the Lamp Tickets and The Resort Collection ‐ Panama City Stay and Play in Florida!
There will also be prizes for longest drives (men and women), closest to hole, and longest putt sunk. The $150.00 entrance fee includes 18 holes of golf, shared golf carts, driving range balls, lunch and drink tickets, goodie bag, and prizes!
