Where are the top NFL stadiums that use solar power to produce onsite energy? California? Arizona? Texas?
If one of your guesses was Landover, Maryland, great job!
Join AEE/NCC on an exclusive tour of FedExField, the second highest NFL stadium producer of solar energy, and understand the organization’s commitment to energy management and sustainability.
Friday, July 21st: FedExField Energy Management Tour
Led by Steve Stratchko, Chief Engineer for the Redskins since 1999, the tour will showcase FedExField’s sustainability projects like optimizing HVAC systems, implementing LED lighting upgrades, and installing (2,000 kW capacity!) solar panels.
Note this tour will require attendees to climb stairs, so bring your walking shoes. After the tour, the group will eat lunch in a private room at a nearby Golden Corral. The group is limited to 30 attendees, so make sure to register ASAP!
