Thursday, December 4th: AEE National Capital Chapter Evening on the Potomac
We are celebrating our fabulously successful year of programs and events. Especially for receiving three awards at the October 1-3, 2014 World Energy Engineering Congress: 1) Most New Members, 2) Best Student Chapters, and 3) Best Overall Chapter Performance! Boarding begins at 6 pm for our Dandy Dinner Boat Cruise, near the Waterfront Park in Old Town Alexandria, at Zero Prince Street. If you are coming by Metro, get off at the King Street Metro Station, then take the free King Street Trolley that will take you within a few blocks of the Dandy's site. Ask the driver for directions. Allow plenty of time for the Metro, the Trolley, and walking. There is a lovely restaurant across from the Dandy - early birds can meet and relax in their bar area while awaiting boarding time.
The cruise will include a four-course dinner, cash bar, and music and dancing. There will be plenty of networking and time to visit with our student chapter members and learn about their interests and studies related to the energy industry.

Dandy Dinner Boat Cruise
Zero Prince Street
Washington, VA 22314
Early registration has been extended to November 29th, for a registration fee of $100, and will go up after this date. Special pricing for student chapter members, faculty sponsors and their date or guest only $20.00 per person.
Those of us who went on the dinner cruise last year are still fondly remembering the fabulous food, music, dancing, camaraderie with our student members, guests, and chapter members. The view of airport, inner harbor lights of DC and areas we floated by were fantastic! Be sure to bring a warm jacket as it was a bit misty and windy - but so well worth going up top!
