Friday, August 21st: AEENCC Tour & Lunch at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center
The AAA Four-Diamond Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center opened April 2008 along the banks of the Potomac River, one mile south of Washington D.C., in National Harbor, Md., a new 300-acre waterfront destination. Gaylord National is the largest-combined hotel and convention center on the East Coast, offering 2,000 guest rooms, including 110 lavish suites; 470,000 square feet of convention, meeting and exhibit space; acclaimed restaurants; Spa; Ultra Lounge; and a soaring 19-story glass atrium. We will tour the inner workings and hidden mechanisms that make this behemoth of a building work. A true gem of the hospitality industry will be revealed to our tour participants by their Director of Engineering.
