Energy Organization of the Year
Presented to a private sector organization for outstanding accomplishments in developing, organizing, managing and implementing its comprehensive energy management program, and for superior service to the Association educational organization that has taken measures to minimize their energy consumption
Energy Engineer of the Year

Presented to an individual for outstanding accomplishments in promoting the practices, principles, and procedures of energy engineering, and for superior service to the Association. The recipient must be a registered P.E. or F.E., with special exceptions made at the board's discretion.
Any group or individual that has promoted energy conservation and efficiency through a system or design. To be eligible, the system or design has to be in practice for a minimum of 6 months and have measurable results.
All applications require an AEE NCC member to submit the application, non-members can submit the applications if they have a sponsor who is a member of AEE-NCC.
Nominations must include the name of the nominee, their sponsor, and a written statement from their sponsor outlining why they are deserving of the award. Any supporting documentation should be supplied with the nomination.
Young Energy Engineer of the Year
Presented to a public or private sector institution, agency, or organization such as City, County, State or Federal; a University or K-12 (kindergarten through 12th grade), etc. for outstanding accomplishments in developing, organizing, managing and implementing its comprehensive energy management program, and for superior service to the Association educational organization that has taken measures to minimize their energy consumption
In order to be eligible for the award, the nominee must be in good standing with both the AEE/NCC and National Chapters if they are members. Their membership is encouraged, but not required. In addition, the nominee should have met all the criteria of the award. Any exceptions can be made at the discretion of the Awards Committee.
Nominations must be received no later than September 30, 2017.

Energy Institution of the Year
An engineering student who has shown outstanding initiative in promoting energy conservation, be it through additional coursework, extra-curricular activity, internship, or volunteer work.
Award Eligibility and Contact
Any individual, 35 years of age or younger, who has made outstanding contributions to the energy profession and to the community in any, or all of these areas: educational and collegiate achievement; professional or technical society activities; civic and humanitarian activities, continuing competence; energy management achievements; climate change activities and achievements; and renewable energy activities and achievements.
